If you don’t have a wireless card either usb or internal on ur desktop then what u need to connect to this wireless router is a cord.
If you want to use your computer to connect wirelessly you will need a wireless adapter. PCI or USB is the type of connection. PCI will require removing the cover and inserting a card into a particular slot whereas the USB card simply plugs into one of the USB ports on your computer.
USB is simply and straight forward
