No, you can’t. Go buy a linksys wireless router, they’re very inexpensive and will work with whatever internet setup you have.
:edit:
For a bit more info on WHY you can’t – the dsl modem + router requires your inbound network connection to come over the DSL plug, which is not compatible with your regular networking equipment.
There is a slim chance that you could get it to work as a wireless access point if it has any switching capacity between your wired “output” jacks and the wireless card inside. You’ll have to plug it in and turn it on to test this theory. You’ll want to run a cable from one of the output ports on this router to an open port on your switch for your regular network. The router may require you to plug it in to an uplink port on your switch, which if you don’t have one free you could overcome with a crossover ethernet cable. You’ll have to connect a computer to this router and have it pick up an IP address so you can configure the router’s wireless access. Make sure that any configuration options to allow networking between the wireless and the wired networks are enabled. Once done unplug the computer and test with your laptop. Chances are this won’t work, and is not going to be nearly as efficient, secure, or fast as just buying a linksys.
if the settings in your broadband wireless router are not locked to the provider (will be unusual though), you may be able to use it to share your existing internet connection, it may also pick up unprotected wireless internet connectivity if they are available in your area.
You can configure it as only a router. Leave the internet settings. Only configre LAN and Wireless settings. Connect one cable from from ur modem to one of the routers LAN ports.(Not the WAN port) Configure the security settings also. Thats all.
