If I get a new pc will I have to get a new wireless adapter for Cox High Speed Internet Wireless Home Network?

goodbyemred asked:

A friend told me he bought a new pc and the adapter card wouldn’t fit. I want to get a new desktop and I want to know if I am going to have to pay for a new adapter, too. All the wireless hardware (modem, adapter) was obtained from Cox.

Depends on the adapter card entirely. If it is PCI, most new PC’s will accept that. The ideal case would be that you had a wireless USB card, in which case you install the driver on your new system, find a free USB socket, and you are good to go.

No, you’ll be fine if you have the right slots for your adapter.
