How fast should my internet connection be for NHL GameCenter Live?

I’m thinking of getting NHL GameCenter Live, which is a live online webcast service from the NHL. It’s just like MLB.TV, but it’s hockey. How fast should my internet be? What type of internet should I have? I have DSL now, and I know that won’t cut it. I’m upgrading to Mediacom cable internet very soon.

    When I had 400 kilobits/second, YouTube videos could barely load.

    Now I have 3 megabits/second, and YouTube videos and NHL live games stream OK.
