How can I get yahoo messenger to connect with a wireless broadband card?

Hippie asked:

I have a Sprint wireless broadband card. Ever since I began using this connection my yahoo messenger (tried 8.1 and 9.0 beta) will not connect. I am running winXP and have tried using all the connection properties. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled with both versions of the msgr. When i try to sign in, it signs in for a couple seconds then disconnects and tried to reconnect. Can anyone help me???
